Obama Cartoons--Stay tuned for a Second Term!

CARTOONS

The 2012 Presidental Race became a duel about issues such as immigration.

Although President Obama had promised to support the Dream Act, he ordered the deportation of over a million immigrants.

His opponent, Mitt Romney, took a hard line toward immigration.

The President's approval ratings were the lowest they've been. In June, 2012 Obama acted to provide deportation relief and work visas to over a million immigrants.

Over 75% of Latino voters supported Obama on election day. Many say that the Latino vote was crucial to his victory.

If politicians want the Latino vote, they must have in mind the issues that are important to Latinos.

THE 2012 ELECTION by Keissy B

The Hispanics  prayed  and hoped for Obama to win, in other words Mitt Romney was the bad guy and of course Obama the good one. The Hispanics were feeling proud of where they come from. Hispanics held their heads high, praying for a miracle to stay in the land of liberty, hoping for their kids to get a better future. Hispanics showed that Mitt Romney won’t tell them what to do. Obama already understands how Hispanics felt because he was the son of an immigrant unlike Romney at first he didn’t want to admit he was the son of an immigrant. On the day of the election everyone was serious, thinking Mitt Romney was going to win but when they said Obama won, it was the best day of the Hispanics’ life. Four more years said the people. His family  in Mexico were waiting for him to win but maybe it wasn’t meant to be. Better luck next time Mitt Romney.
