New House Teacher

Every year my house teacher changes. First we had Ms.Kamal for house she was a really nice teacher. She was an art teacher and we did cool art assignments with her. We even went to 2 cool trips with her we went to a place called 5 Pointz where people did graffiti on the walls and it was amazing and a museum called MOMA. I had a good time on the trip and so did my House.

This year we had a new teacher for house and her name is Ms.Celina now we are the Publishing House and we have our own website where we post cool articles about things that happen in life.  And we also write tips for students. This year we went on a trip Wall Street Journal.

I wonder who’s going to be our house teacher this year. I hope its a girl and I also hope she’s fun like my other house teachers.

Fifa World Cup 2014

Goooooooooooooool!  From Spain to Mexico the anticipation can be felt all over the world of the World Cup 2014.  Men and women tuned in for the first game which was Brazil vs. Croatia.  The ceremony was opened by Jennifer Lopez, Pitbull and Claudia Leitte. Brazil won the game scoring 3 goals and Croatia 1 goal.  The star of the game was Neymar, who scored 2 goals for Brazil.

 In other news, this year’s cup is set on Manaus, Brazil all they way to Porto Alegre, Brazil where all the best soccer players will come together and fight for the World Cup!  Today the airports are full with thousands of people traveling to Brazil.  I’m sure you’re going to watch it and not just because of the handsome players but because of the amazing soccer games.

The World Cup will take several days and each day will have different games.   For example, today Group A is Mexico vs. Cameroon, Group B is Chile vs. Australia and the second Group B is Spain who will be vs. Netherlands. Maybe you would've thought that the World Cup was going to be only one day but actually is about a month. It’s is June 12- July 13.  Lets cheer for our teams!
